RESCUE GOES TO WORK IN CHESTER

Rescue 45 was dispatched as the RIT on the second alarm  building fire in the City of Chester at 1300 Crosby St. (Crosby Square Apts.) As Rescue 45 went responding they were reassigned as a Engine Company on the 2nd alarm. Rescue 45 was given orders to pick-up  the plug at 13th & Crosby and supply Chester Reserve Engine 82-3. Rescue 45’s crew reported to the man power pool. The fire quickly went to 3 alarms. Crews worked for over 2 hours to bring the 3 alarm blaze under control. Chester Firefighters rescued a disabled women from a ground floor apartment. The fire damaged multiple apartments and displaced many residents.
